I agree if they are plastic. Metal wheel wells just get cleaned and not dressed.

Re: Wheel well detail
I used to use hyperdressing which looks awesome but one rain usually washes it off. Now I use All Season Dressing which looks just as good and last longer.

If your only concern is longevity I agree. The All Season Dressing being solvent based will hold up better.
If price and/or gloss are factors you may have a choice to make, but it will just be your preference. Both are great products. We are always fans of trying as many things as you can even if it's just to confirm you are using what you like best. Personal preference is part of the reason we have so many products.Brian Hann

I have some Safe D-greaser that I am thinking of giving a try but I was wondering if APC might be a better choice.
I use APC+, similar to APC... but I would think Safe-Degreaser would be just fine.Brandon

Re: Wheel well detail
I use Safe D-Greaser to clean wheel wells all the time. I've also used APC which works well too. I really like Safe D-Greaser for cleaning wheel wells and engine bays. These areas have a surprising amount of plastic and rubber pieces. The Safe D-Greaser is great to use in these areas because it does not turn rubber/plastic grey like some other cleaners do.

Don't get me wrong, I love both products. I now use HD for engine compartments, bed liners and interiors. Like I said, it looks awesome and being able to dilute it to different ratios is great and economical. But now for tires, wheel wells and plastic body cladding I use ASD as it holds up better in the rain. So the choice I made is to use bothExtreme Clean Auto Detailing
