  • Brand new black 2007 ford truck

Guys I am new to the forum and have a simple question. What process do I take to start with a brand new black truck ? I want the full description on what to do after a good washing. I want to get the paint off to a good start without already swirling it.

Thanks guys. This is my first black vehicle in 15 years and I am really nervous about the swirl marks. I have always used the microfiber pads and towels when I wax,and a lambs wool mitt to wash.

Microfiber and lambs wool will keep the paint swirl free as long as you keep them clean. Another good tip is to wash the flat surfaces front to back and the sides top down (basically striaght lines, no arcs). If you do induce swirls, they will be a lot harder to see.
