  • Help with what to use on RV...

I have a 2006 Monaco and it has smooth jell coat. The passenger side is in the sun a bit. I seen that #50 would remove light scratches and haze.
The haze is what I have. #50 did nothing at all.
I did it on a black (paint not vinyl) graphic and I just cant get the gloss back. Scary aint it on a NEW RV.
Any ideas on what to try? I dont want to keep dumpping $$ for no results.
    Thanks all
    Don

I have detailed a number of those and it has been my experience that those have a painted finish and not gel coat.

If yours is similar then #50 is the wrong product for the job.

      Welcom to MOL donscomp!

Not sure I can be of any help but.... My first thought it wasn't gel coat either, but I looked over their web site and many if not all of their models are in fact gel coat!?!?

Are you applying the product by hand? With a cleaner wax you will have to 'work' the product in.

        Thanks for the welcome gb.
I am NOT a detailer at all. The coach is full body paint with jellcoat sidewalls. Or at least that is what it says on the invoice.

In fact I would say the Monaco that was in the reply to my post was also. But I could be wrong. I was just doing by hand. Didnt work it a WHOLE lot but.
It has the same webbing scratches as was in the photos in the 1st reply. Also a smoky film to it I think.
        Man o man.
Thought I found the right product. But the #50 did Nada.

        BTW
How much you charge Shine? Your not THAT far away from me. LOL

        Thanks
