ive just painted my 1979 corvette it is the first car ive ever painted with no help at all .after painting it i let it cure out side for about 3 days and last thursday took it to a guy who was to wetsand and buff it to get the runs out and he told me he could handle the job .he has a good rep so i trusted him to take care of my needs .he called me and said he was going to sand and re-clear it >>>>>>>>>>today the car returned to me in worse shape than it was before i even painted it it has all kind of trash in the clear and who ever buffed it burnt the paint in severel spots PLEASE HELP ME WHAT DO I DO KNOW THE PAINT IS OFF A 2006 VETTE LEMANS BLUE WHAT DODO ABOUT ALL THE TRASH SHOULD I JUST SAND IT AND RE CLEAR AGAIN?

well...as I posted in the other thread, your paint does have a solution, but it all depends in how thick the repainter clear is.
usually they're thicker than factory ones, so you can wet sand it and buff it without a problem, but if you measure it or sand through it, then you'll hav to re clear it.
