Paint cleaner or clay kit?

My Vette is a daily driver, not a garage queen. The leading edges have picked up some road grit that doesn't come off with simple washing. Should I use the Deep Crystal Paint cleaner, the Smooth Surface Clay Kit, or both to remove the rough spots?

To remove the gritty feeling use the clay.

I would recommend getting both, or you could clay and follow up with a cleaner wax.

EDIT: The clay kit has a sample of cleaner wax. So go for the clay kit.

As sneek says, both.

They both do different jobs, so you will want both, if you plan to do a full, or at least most of a detail.
