I have waxed but can I apply another Wax?

Hi,
I decided to try and detail my car today, so off to the shops I went. $80.00 later I return home with the goodies, DC Paint Cleaner, DC polish, DC Wax and a Gold Class Kit, which contained Wax, Interior foam, ScratchX and a Wash.

Ok so I washed using Soft Wash, applied the Paint Cleaner using those little foam pads, buffed off using Meguiars Terry Towls and microfiber, next applied the polish buffed as before but with clean towels etc and then applied 2 thin coats of Gold Class Wax.
Am I able to apply a coat of DC wax on top of the Gold Class? Will it be of any use or would I be wasting time and money?

Also What would I use for the exterior trim, I have a lot of black around the top half of the doors its not paint as such and is a very flat looking.

IF you car is very clean, then you can apply another coat of wax on top. If you already have DC#3, you could try it on one panel, kind of compare, see if you like the look, etc. I think Gold Class will have the better looks and durability for you, but have to try things for yourself.

As for the trim, I assume you mean black plastic trim? There are several options, but kind of have to see what is available for you. For a lot of trim, one of the Detailer Line Dressings would be nice, if you can get them. Maybe someone from your area can chime in on what is available, but I will post the pics for a few options:

Thank you Murr1525 for the reply. I heard the Gold Class does not last to long, thats why I thought I might put a coat of DC on it. I will try it on a panel and see.

Gold Class seems ok for me.. but that is why there are several waxes, stuff works for different for different people.
