      Re: swirl marks inevitable?

so i'll look into a real lamb's wool and start using the 2 bucket method

it's not bad yet and i only noticed in on my hood and roof under certain angles with the sun shining on just that part.

not nearly as bad as 99% of the car i see on the road or parked so i'm happy.

i just thought maybe i was doing something wrong.

also, it was windy the other day and a dry hard leaf was blown onto my car pretty rough. i didnt like the sound it made...it hurt to see that happen to my baby although i realize it must happen quite often. didnt check to see if it scratched. i just wish i didnt have to park in the street with the tree sap and dust and those damn sprinklers...

i got hit with sprinklers this morning

      :-(

I use the two bucket system with a grit guard in each bucket.
        Real lambs wool wash mit.
        Gold Class shampoo.
I dry with an absorber just laid on the paint, never rubbed or wiped on the paint.
And then a final pass with a WM.

mash mitts? sheepskin? sponges? MF wrapped sponges? just a high quality MF towel?
You left out licking the water off. Oh, wait a minute, that's my cat, not my car. Uh, I mean my cat licks himself dry. I don't lick my cat dry. Or my car. -PC.
