  • Protecting Aircraft Paint no Clear Coat

    Hi Guys ,

I have an Aircraft that is painted but has no clear coat , With people jumping in and out it has become scratched in places. Unfortunately it is Blue and White and the blue shows all the scratches. If you you use a little cut polish it removes paint and makes swirl marks . what can i do to touch up the scratches and protect the paint in future ? its about 6 months old , still otherwise new and shiny !

Why are you located? I would love to take a look at it.

Your location says "Nelson" A search found 23 Nelsons in the US with a buch more outside.

If your using a product that is scratching it up you may have to step down a product.

Nelson , New Zealand .. But jump a Air new Zealand flight from LA and come have a look!

So many products these days and i cant afford to get it wrong to many more , Its such a real problem with no clear coat, So many aircraft cleaning products do not address the new single coat paints with no clear. Car solutions really are best if you can get the right ones.

      Cheers

      Matt
