I am a little confused on what I have read on the forums regarding maintenance, maybe I am misunderstanding. After doing a complete detail on a car, cleaner, clay, polish, wax/sealer, I have read where people are using cleaner/wax to maintain their vehicles on a monthly basis. What puzzles me is if you use the cleaner/wax, you are going back to the base paint, what happened to all the polishing and waxing that you had done during the complete detail, why not just use another coat of wax or sealer to maintain?

Re: Maintenance
I think you might be blending together a couple different ideas.
For some people, a full detail is their regular monthly maintenance.
For others, a full detail, followed by several washes and spray waxings is theirr regular maintenance.
Or, some people find one coat of cleaner wax every month, or cleaner wax/topper is much quicker than a full detail, so they may do it more often but not worry as much about spray waxes and such in between.
Or any combination of the above.... People do all kinds of stuff....2017 Subaru WRX Premium - WR Blue
