  • Hand Polish

Might be a dumb question, but here it goes anyways.

Can u apply Hand Polish using PC (or in my case I have a Dewalt 443 RO)? I swear to god that after applying DACP and IHG a year ago all by hand on the entire car, I wouldn't do a full detail and apply polish/glaze by hand no more. My right arm almost fell off that night.

Only Hand Polish is available in my area. I originally have SFP and Speed Glaze in mind but no such luck.

    Appreciate your inputs.

    Hey,

Yes, you can apply the #81 Hand Polish with a DA polisher. Just make sure to do a thin, even, and over-lapping coat. I like to use Meg's W-9006 Finishing Pad with the PC set to speed 3-4.

I use the #81 with my PC and it leaves very good results. Best polish that I have used. I use it just like 2hotford said.

On highly neglected cars I have used DACP on a cutting pad (your results may varry with this as has been discussed), then went back over with the hand polish on a polishing pad, then topped it off with NXT on a finishing pad, the results were really good.

          Thanks!.

I'll give it a try as soon as rain stops here in my area.
