I know that 83 is a dual product, it cleans and polishes. But when would you use 80 vs 83 or visa-versa?

Re: 80 vs 83 ... which one
83 is a more aggressive polish than 80 and won't always leave quite as nice a finish behind. By that I mean you can often see some light hazing after using 83, and of course it's more noticeable on darker colors. This hazing can be quickly removed with a pass of 80. But if you adhere to the rule of "use the least aggressive method to remove the defect" you'll find 80 can do wonders on its own, and it leaves a beautiful finish ready to wax.Michael Stoops
