doing a car with vinyl roof, I need some help. whats the best thing to use? I was planing on #40, but I don't have alot of luck with it lasting outside. Is #38 even an option? would nxt tech protectant last alittle longer outside? this vehicle doesn't get all the love it deserves so I'm more interested in protection than looks. T.I.A.

Is the vinyl roof in good shape?
If so, I would opt for a good cleaning with a mild soap solution, (car wash), and then a well worked in application of NXT Tech Protectant.

follow up.........
did the top but it was in worse shape than I thought. first application of nxt tp soaked up pretty fast, I applied another coat of nxt tp and it looked pretty sweet. I will post back about duriblity in a few days.2000
