  • One step application

My car have never been polish for 2 years now. I dont have time and cash to buy the 3 step DC system but i do own a clear coat body scrub and mist & wipe quick detailer.

I usually wax my car using kit wax once a month but no i think the wax gone bad because it leaves thin coat of wax that cannot be wiped of until i wash my car.

So im wondering what wax should be good enough for my car? colorx, DC#3, cleaner wax or nxt wax. I would like the water beading action like the DC3 can the other wax do that?

    I plan to use it,
    Body scrub
    wax

I think a good one step product would be ColorX It cleans and I have heard nothing but great things about it. It will be worth the 7 - 8 bucks you speand on it.
You left out licking the water off. Oh, wait a minute, that's my cat, not my car. Uh, I mean my cat licks himself dry. I don't lick my cat dry. Or my car. -PC.

By hte way im using 2 100% cotton towel to 1 to apply and 1 to remove them. Its very hard to remove the body scrub on a large area because it leaves a smear and i didnt leave it to dry. i applied it at night and tried applying in in OWOW motion that i learned from the forum.

We've heard of the WOWO method which means,

        Wipe on, Wipe off

But what is the OWOW method?

Usually, anytime someone recommends the WOWO method for applying a wax, a red flag should go up as this means there's something wrong with the product.

If you have Body Scrub, this should remove any Kit wax you've applied, apply it, work it against the paint with a little passion and the wipe it off.

For a wax, A12 Clean/Wax is very affordable and will outperform most waxes costing much more. ColorX is also a great option as is NXT if you use the Body Scrub first.

OWOW means wipe it in circular motion and then in straight line bcoz it seems like the body scrub that i applied is thinner that way. But whats wrong with the smear when removing it? i already flip the towel when the smear wont go away but i used the whole towel already and need to find another fresh towel just for the hood. And thats just for the body scrub not to mention the waxing which means the i have to prepare a lot of fresh towels for the whole car.

The body scrub didnt have much effect except for darkening the paint a little.

Does nxt have the water beading action? I will try the foam applicator pad and microfibre once i got enough $ bcoz the microfibre towel is $13-$20 here in Brunei.

Because there is only one meguiars distributor.

Which wax will hides or remove the most scratches and swirl marks for a one step application? cleaner/wax, DC3, nxt or gold class. dont care about the price. i read somewhere in this forum color x seems to be to agressive for weekly usage so need other options.
