A few months back I washed, clayed, ploished, sealed, and waxed my car. Now with the winter fast approaching I wanted to redo the sealant. What is the easiest way to prep the paint for sealant use? Step by step decription is helpful!

Re: Redo for winter
Are you working by hand, or machine?
I think the easiest is clay, ColorX, #21... but its kind of a broad question. There is no 'correct' way to use a Meguiars sealant, it is just a matter of following the 5-step system.2017 Subaru WRX Premium - WR Blue

BY MACHINE! I'm too lazy to do this much work by hand.

Re: Redo for winter
Well, here are the two basic ways by machine:
1. Clay as needed
2. #80
3. #21
4. #21
Or:
1. Clay
2. Cleaner/Wax, Like ColorX or #66
3. #21
You will get better looks the first way, but if you are in a hurry, cleaner/waxes can be effective ways to cut out steps.2017 Subaru WRX Premium - WR Blue
