  • Removing surface paint!

I rubbed my car against the garage and picked up some white paint on my 2006 Infiniti M. Is there a product I can use to safely remove the garage paint and not harm the surface of my car?

    Many thanks,

    Frank

Try Meguiar's Deep Crystal Step 1 with a 100% cotton terry cloth towel. Work it in really well until the paint disappears

Yea.. Ive had success using DC1 to remove paint from other peoples doors when they hit cars with them. Should work out just fine if it didnt remove any of your paint..

I found the solution using the Clay Bar package. It took a little time to get the paint off, but there was no apprent damage to the clear coat or the original paint.

          Thanks again,

I had a little green stripe of paint on the front (black) corner of my bumper when I bought it. Likely the last owner grazed one of those protection poles at a drive thru. I used Megs clay & it took it off with no damage to my bumper left behind. Wish I knew about this stuff years ago!! hehe
