  • dry wash ????

Hi. As per my knowledge, washing the car with a garden hose+sprayer is the best way to rise off the loose dirt and dust which when followed by a shampoo again followed by a flow of water [ not spray ] is the best way to clean a car and make it spotless

The problem is, i live in an area where there is an acute water scarcity hence i do not have the luxury of wasting water using a hose or rinsing off the shampoo later with a free flowing cascade.

More over, since the area is very dry and dusty, i have to wash every alternate day and hence cannot afford to waste water. How, then do i wash my car with the least water and yet make the process effective and without causing any damage to the paint ?

Do a search on ONR or QEW, there is more info on this on autopia though, since Meguiars only have regular car wash soaps.
I prefer normal washing to the rinsless method, since I get all the loose stuff off before touching the paint.
