  • ColorX vs. Deep Crystal Paint Cleaner

I've been thinking about trying to clean my paint..

    1) But which product makes it more powerfull in the color?
ColorX or Deep Crystal Paint Cleaner?
    Any pros. or cons.?

    2) I've just waxed my car yesterday.. But will I have to remove the wax to get underneath it to clean my paint? Or does the Paint Cleaner/ColorX penetrate the wax layer and still cleans my paint to a higher degree of color...?

ColorX is an all in one product (cleaner/polish/wax) while the DC Paint Cleaner is just that, a cleaner. If you use ColorX it should be enough to remove the wax but using the Paint Cleaner, ColorX and a Wax will achieve a better result (seeing as you already have these products).

Re: ColorX vs. Deep Crystal Paint Cleaner

If ColorX is a cleaner/polisher/waxer why should I use a cleaner, ColorX and then wax??? III would plan to use ColorX, a polish, and caruba wax..
But the cleaner in ColorX vs. the Cleaner is how?
Is there one of them there's stronger? One of them there's more powerfull in cleaning?

I would think if you use a clay bar you are removing large contaminates with it and the you would not be getting it in the pad you would be using to polish with, thus removing the chance of putting more scraching on the clear coat

Dedicated products (like DC Paint Cleaner) will work better than the all-in-one's as they are designed to do one function.

One step products (like ColorX) are great time savers and most people then top them with another wax to give it that extra protection. This is why I suggested the dedicated paint cleaner first, then ColorX then a wax on top as you get the better clean before you start and then the additional wax to finish it all off. In this case you could even substitute the ColorX for DC Polish.

          So you can:
          ColorX
          Wax

          or

for a vehicle that requires a bit more cleaning:
          DC Paint Cleaner
          ColorX
          Wax

          or

If you have a dark coloured car I would use:
          DC Paint Cleaner
          DC Polish
          Wax
