  • What speed???

    what speed do you guys recommend for applying DC#2 & NXT - with the PC?
    I used for #4 for the NXT on my girls murano..and looked pretty good...low speed for DC #2?? higher for NXT??

      Hey,

      I agree with what has been said. For NXT, use a Meguiar's W-9006 Finishing Pad with the PC set to speed 3-4. Then to remove, place a Meg's Ultimate Bonnet (MF bonnet) over a clean W-8006 Polishing Pad, set PC to speed 4.

        ok..so Iwas on target for the NXT (speed for & used the W 9006)...but what speed for the deep crystal #2(polish)?? slower?? faster???

          Hi mrzee,

          Typically, slower speeds are best for applying pure polishes and paint protectants. This could be a setting of 1.0 to 3.0 depending on your preferences. Usually, the 2-3 setting works best.

          Higher speed settings are necessary to remove defects and are used when applying paint cleaners, cleaner/polishes and cleaner/waxes. When applying these kinds of products, the higher oscillating action helps to work the product into the finish to remove defects.
