    Where do you guys get your's. I think a 6" pad on the rotary would be easier to work and less swirls. Typical 5/8 thread for my dewalt

        hmmm....interesting I'll think about this. Is there any difference between this and the solo backing plate?

          Solo has a significant amount of foam padding built into it to allow for more give around curves. It's "safer" for those new to rotaries, and loved by veterans alike.
