Re: Waxing more times gives more deep shine?
Apply a THIN coat of wax.
Let it dry.
Remove the residue.
If you continue to rub or "polish" the wax after removing the residue, you will just rub off the wax.
Silver polishing is NOT a good comparison. Silver polish has abrasives. Wax does not (if any "experts" are reading this, please don't confuse WestDK by pointing out minute amounts of cleaners or fillers in waxes).
Cleaner/polishers like 83/80/82 are better compared to silver polish. Silver polish's abrasives remove scratches. The more you polish, the more silver is removed and the scratches dimminish. Polish long enough using enough silver polish, and you will remove enough silver around the scratch to bring the surface of the spoon down to the level of the scratch and the scratch "disappears".
Shine requires a perfectly smooth surface. Ceaner/polishers are used to make paint perfectly smooth.
