lol. I believe the pads are a different foam formula. They are designed to be used only for the So1o system.
You left out licking the water off. Oh, wait a minute, that's my cat, not my car. Uh, I mean my cat licks himself dry. I don't lick my cat dry. Or my car. -PC.

How are these new foam pads different?

Both new foam pads have a "diamond" pattern cut out in the buffing surface of the foam which delivers a smoother buffing action. The user will experience "less chatter", meaning less of a "grabby feel" or "pad-hop" that is sometimes felt with softer foam pads. Since the diamond pattern is cut into the surface of the foam and not convoluted, you get the benefits of a flat pad but with a smoother buffing action.

The yellow "Diamond" Foam Polishing Pad is the same yellow foam as our proven and trusted W8000 pad.

The black "Diamond" Foam Finishing Pad is a new foam that has the cell structure of our yellow foam but is softer foam than our W9000 pad. You can think of this new black foam pad as being less aggressive than our yellow foam and more aggressive than our tan foam, but leaving just as good a finish as our tan foam.

Looks like the polishing pad is a carry-over formula - but the black finishing pad is a new formula...and I see no reason it wouldn't work with the G100.

I am just wondering if it would work BETTER than the current G100 pads.
