terry towels vs chamois

Second official post but first question post! Recently, I have been seeing allot of information on the usage of terry towels and other material to dry a car off instead of the standard sheepskin chamois which I have always felt they worked well to soak up water and not scratch the paint. Any myth busters for the chamois that I should know and is 100% natural sheepskin chamois better then a synthetic type? I always voted for the 100% natural. So which is the best to use for non abrasive (no extra swirls or scratches)? O yea I did watch Mike’s video on the two bucket wash which I found to be really informative along with the ‘padding’ drying method which I am using now… Now that I live in Thailand things are not so easy to get like the grit guard so I had to make my own and it turned out great. Well, I think its mostly a matter of personal preference on a drying method or tools.

Here are Meguiars options:
-Water Magnet Drying Towel - also known as a 'waffle weave', works very well and very gentle on a painted surface

-Microfiber Super Suede Drying Towel - you might call this a synthetic chamois - this to works very well, very gentle on a painted surface and its very soft!

-Super Thick Natural Chamois - now I don't care for this option, the couple times I have used one they too seem very gentle on the surface but they are not for me but they are a quality product.

Now I have used all three products and reach for the Water Magnet and Super Suede Towel time and time again as they are my preferred tools!

IMO, all Meguiars drying products are very good, very gentle and work well its just a matter of what you like to use.
