...I get streaks on my black paint that look similar to holograms!!! Or similar to streaks on glass I guess..

My process is to apply the material on the car, then rub in or spread apart with a foam applicator, and then wipe off with a microfiber towel.

When I look at the paint in the sun, you can see alot of streaks, but if i keep wiping with the microfiber, they go away (almost... not fully)

This never happens with DC1...

What is my problem here? The MF towels I'm using are meguiars, I wash them after every use in the washer with unscented tide detergent..

That happens with GC Wax and DC3 for me. I think its cuz we apply too much.

well, i hate putting just a little bit on because im looking at areas of my paint and see that there is nothing on it so i put more to make sure every area of paint gets some compound on it

I would tend to say too much product as well. With Deep Crystal #2 work the product in and remove damp, no need to let a pure polish dry, a little goes a long ways. With Deep Crystal #3 apply the product, a nice thin coat and let it dry then remove, you can use The Swipe Test to see if the product is dry. Remove all products with a quality Microfiber or 100% Cotton towel.
