  • Question Re: #66

When using M66 do you work it then wipe it off like 83 & 80, or do you leave it dry similar to 21 & 26 ? Also what pad and PC setting work best ?

    Thanks in Advance

    Re: Question Re: #66

#66 is a cleaner wax and a good one! So, you want to work the product in then let dry. Once dry remove with a quality microfiber or 100% cotton towel.

      Re: Question Re: #66

Received my sample of 66 and got to try it out yesterday, it worked better than expected. I have another question however, when does the cleaning action occure ? Is it during the applicationof product, removal of product or both ?

      Thanks in Advance

        Dan,
I can't say I have ever seen this in writing but I am pretty sure the cleaning action is being done during the application of the product. If memory serves, #66 contains the same diminishing abrasives that the cleaner/polishes contain. Hence they break down during the application process. This is my understanding of it anyway.

I like #66 as well. I have a Honda Ridgeline and went through quite the learning curve trying to figure out what works well for me and #66 with the RB and a 9006 pad actually seems to leave me with a better final polish look than the PC with #82 or #9 with a 9006 pad. 2Hotford suggested I try #66 because after trying all of the cleaner/polishes I kept coming up with very faint cobbwebbing. #66 went along way to riding me of this.

I don't use it alot but I do keep it in the arsenal.
