Is the W-65DA the correct backing plate for the G100a and W8006 6.5" pad or is this backing plate only recomended for a 8" pad? If there is a different backing plate what is the correct number?

Re: G100a w8006 which backin plate?
Thanks! guys I appreciate the input, I'm a real newbie at this type of detailing. I have lways used Meguiar's products, 3, 6, 7, 9, 16, 26, 34. But always by hand, I never wanted anythig to do with a buffer or a chance at burning through paint. Meguiars did a demo in Marlboro MA at a car show I attneded, I was impressed with the g100, the result and the comments made by the individual doing the demo. He was using something in a black bottle do not remember the number or name for his final polishing, Ive got my G100a and just bought some w7006, w8006, w9006 pads, some 80, 82, 83, NXT and a g100 but somehow got the wrong backing plate my supplier is correcting that as we speak. I pesonally own a small collection of cars and look forward to a freesh detail on some of them.

Congrats on the G100 purchase, you won't be disappointed! Just looking at your list of product, keep in mind Meguiars doesn't recommend using the W7006 (Cutting Pad) on your PC. You can use it as a backing pad with bonnet for removing wax via PC.
