Aluminum diamond plate wax?

Got my White 96 Ford 150 looking pretty good thanks to all the info on Meguiar's online. Polished my Weatherguard alumium diamond plate toolbox. This old of a box did not have a clear coat. Any advice on waxing it to keep it shined up. Thanks in advance.

The Nxt Metal Polysh does have some protection it in. Topping with an ywax would be ok, #21, Gold Class, etc, etc.

There is also an option in the Marine Line that is a metal protectant. The name escapes me this moment, but you could try that as well.

I was at lowes the other day and they had a diamond plate polish. I am sure NXT is as good if not better, but you may want to check it out.

Thanks for all the input. Read all the threads. Like Hanibal I also tried the polishing wheel and the different buffing compounds, what a waste of time and money for me. A friend loaned me has Powerball and it went to town on that old box, the diamond plate does take a toll on the foam. Advice on the brush ,Simple Green and pressure washer will be tried. Have GC. but may try Meguiar's Spray Wax for ease of application Thanks again.
