  • dc#2 looks hazy

I just put a light coat of dc#2 on my truck with pc on #4 wiped off with microfiber cloth, buffed with pc #5.5 speed and ultimate bonnet. It looks like there is a haze on the truck even after extensive buffing. What am I doing wrong? Will quick detailler help? Tomorrow I will put on a coat of nxt. Will that get rid of the haze?

Deep Crystal #2 is a glaze which contains special oils that level the surface and create the gloss we all like. The speed you are running the PC at is a bit high. To apply a glaze or wax I wouldn't go any higher than 3 on the PC. Same goes for removing a glaze with the PC, keep the speed down. What probably happened is that you gummed up the glaze by heating it up with the PC. I would just apply another layer of Deep Crystal #2 at 3 on the PC and then wipe it off by hand. Try it on one panel first to make sure it works. If it doesn't I would just wash the car again to remove all the oils and do a fresh layer of Deep Crystal #2 making sure to keep the speed down.
