The best is to have one pad for each product you are using.
Detailing cars is a form of art. Most appreciate it, few possess the required skill and even fewer understand it.

I rinse mine out in the sink with hot water and soap. Let them air dry. I havent had any problems.

Meguiars USA doesn't recommend washing pads, i think Meguiars in Europe has a pad washer that hooks up to a rotary... so if you wash your pads and they come apart, it's your own fault

while using if the pad is getting very saturated, take a clean microfiber towel with one hand and turn on the g100 with the other, and press the pad firmly into the microfiber towel. this will help clean it up some...

when i'm finished with the pad(s), i take a bucket and fill it up with some dishwashing soap and let it soak for about 15 minutes and then massage and squeeze (not wring!) all the water and product out and then let it dry on the grit guard...

I use a similar process knowing Meguiars doesn't recommend it so its at my own risk. I have had one pad separate from the backing a few years back but its only been once in the 4 years I have had my PC.

When you have a wide selection of products its hard to keep a dedicated pad for each as the cost gets a little high.
