is the QD from the consumer line the same with the last touch spray detailer from the detailer line? can the last touch spray deatailer used for lubricant in claying?

No and yes. They are variations on a theme, but definitely different products. Either can be used as a lubricant while claying, as can any of the Meguiar's (or anyone else's) detailing sprays. Even soapy water works well.Michael Stoops
