Is Meguiars Water Magnet towel a microfiber towel? it does not explicitly state this on the packaging. Also, I performed a scratch test on a CD with a Meguiars Chenille Mitt, after rubbing the CD, i noticed some scratches...will my paint be scratched if i use this? Also does Meguiars sell sheepskin mitts? Thanks.

Yes the Water Magnet is a microfiber. A waffle weave microfiber towel.
There is always the potential to instill scratches into a vehicle anytime you wash it, however the mit should not scratch your car provided you use the proper wash technique and proper car wash soap.BrianComment

Not sure if the CD test can apply to ab dry wash mitt... I guess maybe it could, provided you use a car wash solution with the mitt to provide the needed lubrication.Brandon
