Anyone have any experience with the yellow MF towels sold at Costco? Are they any good? Thanks.

Re: MF Towels
I've been using them for about 2 months, no problems that I can notice. The only thing you have to be careful of is the tags do not rip off easily, or at all really, like Meguiars stuff. Make sure you always fold the tag into the middle when you fold it into quarters, otherwise I would imagine that tag could induce scratches. Don't know what you want to use them for. They kinda **** to dry w/, they just smear the water everywhere. Get yourself a water magnet for that, it blows the super suede microfiber out of the water IMO. A acceptable performance wiping away QD. I just use them for removing product, door jams, under hood and trunk, chrome polishing, and for cleaning tires and trim.
My advice would be to get a few even coat applicators, plush terrys, and MF towels from Meguiars, and use the ones from Costco for stuff all the small stuff. That way if they get messed up or dirty, you don't care because they cost you like .50 a piece, if that. I don't remember what I paid, I think it was $10 for 24 of them.

Re: MF Towels
My understanding is that the Meguiar's micro fiber towels have a higher level of polyamide in them making them plusher and more effective. The other micro fiber towels are less expensive, but also less luxurious. Like Dump Truck said, I would be inclined to use the less expensive ones on surfaces that aren't quite as important.Rick McDonough

i'm not sure what meguiars levels are, but I remember the Costco MF's being an 80%/20% split. I just can remember which material in was in favor of. I'll take a look when I get home.
