I am trying to find out if there is a good Meguiar's product out there that would be great for maintaining the finish on an ATV. As you know it basically is that gloss like plastic body and I have noticed already that by touching certain towels to it creates scratches right away and some serious ones as well. I tried to do a little PlastX on a certain area and it almost made it worse by leaving this bad haze on the panel and was very hard to get back to that gloss look like the rest of the panel.

That's strange because I've used the Plast-X on a dirt bikes fender and ATV fenders without a problem. What did you use to apply and wipe off the Plast-X with? The product isn't gritty so it's not going to cause anymore swirls or scratches. Another product I've used with success on that type of plastic is Cleaner Wax. Cleaner Wax removed the minor swirls I had on the surface and deepened the color of the plastic.

Below is a good link showing how PlastX works on colored plastic body panels. I would guess the panels you speak of are similar to the ones on the Ford 'Think' posted here: Who Knew??

Thanks for that link GB, that was a great read on how Superior Shine cleaned up that plastic. I have been using a MF but maybe I just wasn't putting enough heart into it. I think I will have to go out and try again because I do have some swirls like that "Think" did and it would be nice to get them smoothed out.
