Re: What is "DISO" ?
Never mind found out it means dealer installed swirl option.
On this same topic - I will be attempting to remove some of these DISOs on my two week old black Lexus. The cleaner/polish that just about everyone seems to suggest is the #80. When finished using #80 would it be okay to follow that up immediately with two coats of NXT?
Thanks.

Here's a recent example of something very similar two what you're trying to do, the section on the passenger side was done with 3 applications of ScratchX by hand followed by one application of Deep Crystal Polish and after that one application of NXT Tech Wax.
The section on the driver's side was done using M80 Speed Glaze with the G100 using a W-8006 polishing pad on the 5.0 setting followed by one application of NXT applied using the G100 with a W-9006 finishing pad on the 3.0 setting.

Taken from this thread,
Club Lexus at Meguiar's - July 15th 2006!
The section you see worked by machine, (or by hand for that matter is a large a section you ever want to work at one time for the defect removal process, for the waxing step you can tackle as large as and area you want because at this point you're not trying to remove below surface defects, (remove paint).
Hope this helps and good luck!

Re: What is "DISO" ?
I cant imagine your car being in bad enough shape to require anything stronger than #80. Though since Lexus paint is soft, I have heard of some people liking to follow up #80 with #82 to get rid of any marring left behind. But you can worry about that in the future, after you get a look at the car after #80.
Just two of my own thoughts, I like #21 over Nxt, and if you can, order the "How-To USe the PC for Show Car Results" DVD from Mike and Richard. Either at showcargarage.com or autodetailingsolutions.com.2017 Subaru WRX Premium - WR Blue

Re: What is "DISO" ?
Thanks for the replies. Actually the paint is in what I call very good condition (smooth and glass-like) but with minor swirls or hologram/marring. I really shouldn't say that they are DISOs because it may very well have been me that caused this. When I picked up the car from the dealer we had cloudy weather for a couple of days. When I got home I put down a coat of Klasse AIO and SG. Two days later when the sun came out I noticed the swirls. I had a hard time removing the product by hand and may have applied too much pressure. I reapplied the AIO to effectively remove the SG and the swirls/holograms/marrs were still there. It was my first and last time using Klasse.

Re: What is "DISO" ?
If M80 leaves some micro-marring, you can also follow that up with M66 to remove the marring and leave a coat of wax as well.
M66 is aggressive enough to remove the marring left by M80 on the super-soft Lexus paint I have dealt with. I then follow up the M66 with NXT or M21.Nate Williams
