What stages to take after new paint

My painter said to wait 2 months after the new paint job before applying any wax (polish)...so it will be safe next weekend. Before now, I never took detailing my car so serious and I thought it would be a good time start after recieving a new coat of black paint.
My question is; What products should I start with, how many coats of each, how long to wait between each coat. It would be nice to have a step by plan to keep my Porsche looking it's best.
So far I've only washed it using the products and techiques I've learned from searching threads...So Thanks Guys!

• Wash with a quality car wash - Check out Gold Class Car Wash
• Polish with a pure polish - Check out Deep Crystal Polish
• Maintain with a quality wax - Check out Gold Class Wax or NXT Tech Wax

You can actually wash and polish with a Meguiar's pure polish a day or so after the a paint has been sprayed, it's the sealing with a paint protectant you want to avoid for the first 30 days or whatever your painter recommends.

How coats of pure polish to start followed by how many coats of wax? I'd like to develope a nice base and then maintain it from there. Is too much too soon a bad thing?

You only need to apply one application of a pure polish, after that go to wax.
