  • Removing Spider Cracks?

I'm working on a 2002 Pontiac Trans Am... the doors are fiberglass and on this particular car, it appears someone either hit the car, or fell against it causing some pretty vicious spider cracking... is there anything that can be done to make the cracks look a little better in the least?

maybe touchup paint could work that a little bit better, but buffing it a bit with a rotary could do the job also. it's just a matter of knowing if the spider cracking has enough space between the cracks to put some paint on them.

Is that the only suggestion? No one has any real world experience? That is what I was going to try.. put some touchpaint paint on a towel after I scrub the scratch with wax remover, then hopefully i can wipe some of teh paint out of the cracks and apply some clearcoat, and wet sand flat again... anyone else have any real world experience with a failsafe plan on how to do with spider cracks?

The forum has zero info on this.
