quite a few members on here like the water magnet waffle weave drying towel. only way to find out if you like it or not is to give it a shot!

I like the water magnet from the marine line of products. A little bigger (and more expensive) and easier for me to handle......plus it's blue, like my car.

No doubt about it, a waffle weave MF towel is the way to go. Whether you get the standard water magnet or the marine line version, you won't be sorry.

            Re: drying up

One question : does your Water Magnet feels kinda rough nowadays? Mine does, and I only wash 'em with warm water and dishwash liquid ( the one without hand softener kind ) by hand in the basin. I worry that it'll might scratch the paint while I'm drying up the car.

But then, the WM + Super Suede is one great combo to dry your car, fast!
yep, so little posts, 'cause you guys have have made it easier for me, thanks!

              Re: drying up

Well, I wash mine in a washer with Cheer, or other clothing soap, and it seems quite good. I dont know if a fabric, exposed to a dish washing detergent over and over, would turn out different. It certainly roughs up my hands.

I'm quite worried that my WM might scratch the paint while I'm drying up the car with it. Or should I just buy another Super Suede and downgrade the WM for door jambs etc?

Anyone else encounter the same problem? I used to left the WM to dry in the hot sun bfr...

                  Re: drying up

My water magnet felt kinda rough even when I first bought it. It never really dries my car all the way. My absorber does a much better job at drying. I think someone said once that after using the water magnet you need to over it again with a micro fiber towel. I think I would rather use one towel. But then again I don't want any scratches.

                    Re: drying up

At first I just hung my Magnet and other mf towes to dry em. Now I just toss em in the dryer on air only. I think they feel softer when air dryed in the dryer.

I've been an absorber user since 98 and up until about a few months ago I swtiched over to the WM. They honestly do not work for me and I've gone back to my absorber. Overall the absorber does the job quicker gets the car dry the first time.

I love mine! Just bought another one the other day. I use to wash mine in the washer but felt like is was making them to thin. I only hand wash mine now with car wash soap and air dry. I may put them in the dryer after they dry to fluff them up alitte.
