Winter is Coming, Need Help on Paint Wax Protection?????

old man "harsh" winter is coming.....I don't garage my car so, what is the best possible combonation to keep wax on......etc....

Usually this is what I do.....(add anything else if neccessary)

1. ColorX, then
2. NXT Liquid wax on top of that.....


is that enough to keep my Car protected besides the usual once a week car wash........

NXT is good, I happen to think #26 is great for protection too.

do two coats of whatever you use.

well it depends on how long you winter is and what kind of conditions its exposed to.

I think that meguiars says that NXT is their longest lasting car wax, but i don't know how long it's supposed to last?

Two light coats of wax on top of a clean surface should do fine with a good wax job every month.

Luckily for my van, my Dad has access to a heated garage in the winter with hot water too .

I would go with some #21 Synthetic Sealant.
