I purchased a large jug of #21 several months back as I do detailing work on the side in Austin. I filled one of the smaller Meguiars bottle with #21. All of my detailing supplies are stored in my garage when not in use. The other day I loaded all my stuff up in my MINI and went off to detail a vehicle. When I went for the #21 and started to apply it to my #9006, I got a VERY "runny" water like substance that came out of my smaller bottle of #21, rather than the usually smooth 21. It was basically water, and if I squeezed on the bottle correctly, I could get some of the thicker product out as well - but mostly just the water-like liquid would come out. I went ahead and used it for that detail since I did not have the larger bottle on site, and it did not affect the results at all...however I am curious why this happened? When I got back to my house, I got rid of it, and just re-filled from the larger bottle which was all normal.....so, is it bad to store all of my products in my garage? My garage is not air-conditioned or anything.

Austin can get pretty hot, we'll check into any reasons storage temperatures can be a factor.
I shaked it VERY well, so that probably did not play a factor. I doubt it was part of the bad batch because when I went to refill it from the larger container, it was back to normal.
It is indeed pretty hot here - even in October. I can't wait for the "cold season" (high 40's low 50's) to come around.
Maybe I will move all of my polishes/LSP in to my house just in case.
