  • suggest cleaner+polish

    hi. i own a white honda city 1 year old and the paint in good condition. regularly wash+clay+wax+qd the car but never cleaned+polished it bcoz used wax as soon as i bought it.

    i requet you to recommend a cleaner + polish that will

    * remove swirls and cobweb like appearances that have appeared on horizontal surfaces like bonet and hoods.
    * can be applied by hand
    * be least aggressive/abbrasive
    * provide deep wet shine and gloss that i can then seal off with a lsp

    thanks in advance

    Re: suggest cleaner+polish

    Try the Deep crystal system from meguiars

    DC1-paint cleaner and it fits your needs. if you need something more aggressive but still very non abrasive, use scratchX, which is more effective in removing light swirl marks, but need to be worked with "passion(thoroughly)" by hand

    DC2-paint polish: IMO, one of the best polishes you can get in the market. It's pure (no silicones or waxes in it) and it's completely non abrasive.

    DC2 polish has given me results that 3M's hand glaze and Automagic's BC-2 yould give me, pointing the difference that these last two products are from a professional line.

    DC3- carnauba wax: I haven't used it but I don't doubt a bit it will leave a great finish on your paint.

    Hope this helps
