SO the nxt was is suppose to last longer than the conventional wax because its synthetic right. But i heard that the gold class gives you a betterlook but doesnt last as long true? And for the DC system is it better to use step 3 DC wax because its made for the DC or could you use the NXT wax or GC after step 2? which do most prefer

Re: NXT or regular step3 or gold class wax
I love the look of Gold Class, so I usually layer it over a coat of NXT Gen. I've also used NXT Gen after the DC 1 and 2 steps, and it looked great. IMO I think the products are very interchangable, depending on your need. I use Gold Class right before a car show, and NXT Gen for it's lasting protection.2002 Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec V Turbo

Re: NXT or regular step3 or gold class wax
Don't under estimate good old Carnauba. I find gold class is pretty darn good, but the gloss and reflection from NXT seemed, to me, better than GC. GC is also a long lasting wax and has been further improved this year.2015 Fiat 500 Abarth.

Re: NXT or regular step3 or gold class wax
Yes, after using DC1 and DC2 you can use NXT or GC instead of DC3.
GC is a blended wax, in that it also contains synthetic ingredients (polymers) besides natural wax, so it should last quite a while. I think GC has a bad reputation durability wise, based on the formula from a couple of years ago, which didn't last as well as the current one.
I did a test on my hood with half GC and half NXT. Had them on for about 7-8 weeks, before I chose to polish the car again. The last 4 weeks of that period it rained almost every day, and yet both sides still beaded equally well at the end of the test. When washing the car they didn't sheet the water as well in the last weeks though. The whole time throughout my test, GC sheeted water better/faster after washing than NXT, which is a characteristic I value.
I think you need to try both waxes to see which one you like the most."Now Biff... make sure that we get two coats of wax this time..."
