Will DA Polish this out?

It's my coworker's 1998 M3 and the front seem to be oxidized (faded looking) and everything from the door beyond is in good shape.

Any suggestions? I only have a DA and 83, 80, 21, NXT, ColorX and 7.

And suggestions how to battle this thing out?

Hey Mike,

I just went through your Bronco Extreme Makeover thread... i think i'm going to try the ColorX and see how that goes... maybe I'll give them all a try! I took that pic at work with a phone cam. I'll be posting up more pix tomorrow night after i'm done with the car... hopefully it'll make a dramatic difference.


p.s. your dvd helped a LOT. Yet to come in on a class to meet you in person.

Once I tried Color X on an oxidized hood. I washed the car, clayed, and then used Color X in that area. Man, it didnt help. The oxidation absorbed the product and then there was a white area where I had applied it and tried to work it in. Still there today. (practice hood)

But it can be done with ColorX.

I did the extreme makeover on that car today.... took about 8 hours for inside and out.
