  • GM Doors (brushed SS)

I waxed my 2001 Buick Park Ave with the 3 step chrystal cleaning system. Like many GM cars, they have those "Brushed Stainless Steel" pieces between the front and rear door glass. It is painted black. Well wax shows up in the etched surface and it no longer appears black. These black painted metallic pieces usually look like **** over time. What do I do to remove the "white" wax that has been there for some time? I have tried orange cleaner with a soft scrub brush followed by a hard rubbing with a soft cotton loop cloth, to no avail. What the heck should you use on these specific door pieces?

    Thanks for your insight.

try diluted alcohol or pure hand dishwashing soap, careful not to get it on the rest of the car though
