  • UGH!!!!!!!!! Tree sap!

I just spent over 6 hours last week detailing my truck. Clayed it, cleaner, #80, then 2 coats of #21. I make it a point to park in a clean area. Yesterday after work I go out to my truck, and the wind has blown tree sap all over the passengers side of my truck

Do I have to go thru the entire process again?? Don't get me wrong, I love detailing my truck! But I have SOOOOOOO much going on this week, I just don't know how I'll fit it in and still have it my daily driver. Is there a quick solution that will get me by for a couple of weeks till I can spend some quality time on it?

    Thanks,
    Nick

I notice, on my black car that if I catch it soon enough I can use the quick detailer spray and with the microfiber cloth it comes right off, never let it set though, and I try not to park under trees

I had the samething happen, my wife parked under a tree after I detailed it. I used QD and it came right off.

hmmm... if you can't wash it off, or as hammer55 posted, wipe it off with quick detailer, I would say you can clay the affected area and follow that up with a coat of 21.

Thanks guys! I'm gonna try washing it off today after work. It's the entire passengers side of the truck, half the hood, roof, everything! Even on the wheels! I hate tree sap!
