maybe try a few applications of Goo Gone. I think its pretty aggresive stuff, i have used it to remove lots of things. did you try spraying goo gone onto a towel and leaving it on the area for a while? you will have to hold the towel there for a while but its worth a shot.

I have both Goo-Off and Goo-Gone and in most cases Goo-Off works better so that is what I tried. Poured some on a old mf towel, placed the towel on a portion of the gunk for a few seconds, then rubbed it in. I did this a few times and it did nothing.

I can't believe nothing worked! Is is sticky or is it dry? It does look like soda. Could it be some sort of varnish or polyurithane? Good luck getting it off. Everyone already made the same sugestions that I would try.

Its not sticky, its hard. I have no clue what it could be. I've tried picking at it with my nails but I can't break it apart.

well, do you have any MPPC? That stuff is pretty strong, I have had better luck with it than any tar remover I've tried. As someone mentioned, Mineral Spirts might be worth a shot...

I hate to say it man but that stuff looks like fiberglass resin. I doubt thats what it is. But thats what it looks like, hehe. I dont see how you could have resin on the road and mixed with the mekp hardener and not harden but it does look like that.

Like iceburge mentioned...try the body solvent....its probly the harshest out of all the above mentioned products ,but does work great on very hard to remove matters.

Few suggestions. Try to heat it up with a hair dryer, that why you will know the paint will be safe. Alternatively, hold some ice over it until its brittle and you may be able to pick it off

With have something in the UK called 'Cilit Bang', i know you have it in the US as i have seen it advertised on TV when i was there but its called something different - could be something like Kaboom, it comes in a purple bottle and cuts through anything.

                    best of luck

Its not the same color but could it be the stuff they glue reflectors down with. I got some of that stuff in my fender wells and its as hard as a rock. Almost 1.5yrs later its still in there.

take a towell soaked with wd 40 or body solvent and let it soak in awhile. tape the towell on the van and let it sit. get yourself plastic razor blades and gently try to pick it off. i do also know that carbrite makes a product in a towellete that will remove road paint that works very well ,but it is serious stuff! i wish you luck
