  • the step 1 2 and 3 by hand and now have a grease look

ok i clayed my black f150 truck then i did the step one paint cleaner and that stuff is a PITA to take off i tried it thick and thin and took it off right away didn't let it try and it doesn't come off easy, then i did the polish which came off nice, then i used meguiars gold wax (its what i bought a month ago) let it set up then took it off and for some reason parts of my truck looks greasy now and it just doesn't look even.

The Deep Crystal System has been around since at least the early 1980's, that's over 20 years with thousands, if not hundreds of thousands and likely millions of satisfied users, so before we blame the products, lets look at technique.

Paint cleaners are to be applied to a section at at time, rubbed into the paint and against the paint thoroughly and then removed using either a microfiber polishing cloth or 100% cotton terry cloth towel.

Don't use cloths with a flat sheen like t-shirts and diapers, these things will automatically make removing any product more difficult.

Pure polishes are similar in application to a paint cleaner except you don't have to work them against the finish, merely apply, work in and over the paint and then remove. Also work a section or a panel at a time.

Waxes are to be applied, worked in thoroughly and then allowed to fully dry before removing.

Pretty basic and most people get exceptional results from the above process. Can you think of anything else that may have been a factor?

Don't work on warm/hot paint and don't work in the sun.

For paint cleaners and polishes only apply and then remove to a section or a panel at at time. Neither of these product need to dry or should be allowed to dry.

Don't use to little product and don't overuse the products.

If sections of your truck look smeary or greasy as you put it, then try this,

    Final Wiping Techniques

    Final Wiping Techniques
One mention about your final wiping technique. (Not initial removal of product, but after the most of a product has been removed and now you're just giving the finish a final wipe).

Often times I witness people wiping the wax off their car, or giving their car's paint a final wipe using fast, spastic wiping motions. Instead, try this, take your wiping cloth, whether microfiber or cotton, be sure it is large enough to fold it 4 ways to give you plenty of cushion to distribute your hand/finger pressure more evenly over the surface of the side of the cloth in contact with the paint, and then wipe the finish slooooowly, not quickly like you're trying to put a fire out.

Wipe the finish slowly. Give the substance on the surface enough time to transfer to the fibers of the wiping cloth. Think about it... if you move your wiping cloth quickly over the surface, you're only allowing nano-seconds for any minute wax/polymer residue to transfer from the paint to the cloth, if you slow down the rate of travel of the cloth over the finish, you improve the chance for whatever it is you're trying to remove to successfully transfer to the fibers of your wiping cloth.

If you follow all of the above, always using clean, dedicated applicator pads to apply your products, then removing them using clean wiping cloths, your finish should look clear, gloss, rich in color.
