  • Rain-X fast wax

    Hello guys!

Quick question... have you ever tried this product?

My dad had some lying around (found it last week) and decided to try it on my old Jeep.

The paint had some sediment spots (stains left after raining). washed the jeep, and after drying, the dirt was gone, but the spots were still there.

I sprayed the liquid, and to my surprise, it is some kind of gel. Rubbed it in, and after massaging it into the paint, damn, was I impressed. ALL the spots were gone, and beading was incredible (decided to spray some water on the front of my ole, trusty flatfender).

To say the least, I'm impressed, but my question is, would using this product affect a coat of Meguiar's Hi Tech Yellow or #21 Synth Sealant? I also have the Meg's Quick Detail, but this Rain-X stuff really blew me away.

    Best regards,

    Jorge

i would think that if it diminished those spots it would have enough cleaners or solvents to remove your wax

Hadn't thought of that... good thing my jeep's paint doesn't need the care that my other cars get! Old jeep=old paint (not original, and not that good looking! I think is Hammerite paint (old stuf that cen be even brushed on...) LOL!!!

Now, if does beading that good, wouldn't it also have a high wax content? I'm not that good in the detailing world yet...
