Does anyone know if it is easy to work with. I am doing a 1999 626 in the morning. Kinda wondering what I can expect.
Plan of attack is:
GC wash
Quik Clay
#82
#21
S100
If it's anything like my '99 Miata then the paint is quite soft and defects can be quite easily corrected using the PC and M80.
But.......the US Market 626 was built at the Flat Rock, MI plant and every production Miata ever made was assembled at Mazda's plant in Hiroshima, Japan. Whether this means anything or not I don't know, but thought I should point it out.
By the way, below is a half & half shot of the trunk lid of my Miata after the dealer did me a favor and washed it. I did myself a bigger favor and polished it. Yes, the whole car looked like the left side at one point!

Thanks guys. I'll run a test section. As far as I know it's been awhile since it was polished. Have camera ready for pix!
Ought to be fun. Real curious what the clay will look like when finished.
