Rainfall after 1st waxing

Hey everyone

Newbe here. I just bought a new truck{silver} 2 weeks ago and washed and waxed w/ the NXT line for the 1st time last night around 9:00 pm. It's now around 2:30 pm the following day and rain is imminent. I was wondering two things. First, has the NXT tech liquid wax had enough time to cure? Second, if I drive home in the rain tonite, should I dry the truck then apply my second coat or should I use speed detailer w/ or w/ out drying before coat # 2? Thank you all in advance for your expertise...especially you Mike. Your posts are very informative and my garage is filling up nicely w/ Meguiars products

Your cure time will be fine.

The only thing is driving around in therain gets a car very dirty. I dont know if I would just dry it and wax. You might end up with a lot of dirt on the towel being dragged around.

The spray detailers might be ok for cleaning, but I dunno. Maybe just save it for a few days till you wash again, give it a real good wash, then apply the 2nd coat.
