Using # 83 on a heavily swirled vehicle yesterday and it was taking care of the swirls, but was gumming up and difficult to remove. Was using a PC and orange LC pad. It was seriously taking me more time to remove the residue then it was to polish out the defects. Finally switched to IP since the removal was easier and it cut down on my time. Any reasons why? Temp in 80's, Bay Area, low humidty, cleaned pads often and worked until it broke down.

Tough to say exactly, but our products are designed to work with our pads. We like to see a system approach. You would be surprised at how different pads and product react.
In the meantime, if you do have some issues, you can simply mist a Quik Detailer type of product on the surface and this will allow you to wipe off any product that may be giving you difficulty
This is a simple tip that works across the board in any situation !!

Thats what I did, but it was still a pain to remove so I switched to IP and had no problem. Funny I do not have this problem with #80 or any other Meguiars products, although #82 can be gummy at times too when trying to remove.Comment
