  • #80 after #83?

I know most people follow up 83 with 80. Is this necessary or can I move straight to the wax. I have been working on my mom's car for 7 hrs now and want to finish up today. I don't think I can do 80 and wax by the end of the day.

    Thanks

#89 will leave a bit better finish than #83. But you dont have to, #83 has plenty of polishing oils i nit, so just go to wax if you want.

One key farther right there buddy!!!

Unless you see some micromarring after using #83 you should be OK to wax following its use, but #80 will give that extra little bit as a final prep.
